The Story of God in Culture and Song: Pacific Islands - Urbana 15

When we worship with a song from another culture, we share their story as well as their music.

Shedrach Rowry, member of the Urbana 15 worship team, was gifted the song "Holy Spirit Fiya" by InterVarsity's Polynesian Chapter in Honolulu--Hui Poly. "Holy Spirit Fiya" was a song written by the staff and students in Hui Poly a few years ago, and it has continued to be their "heart song." See how God has redeemed culture in Hawai'i, and how these Polynesian students live in the freedom to worship as all of who they are.
