Emily’s family has been involved with InterVarsity for years – her grandparents, parents, and sister were all part of InterVarsity chapters at their universities. So, it was almost inevitable that Emily would get involved with InterVarsity at Oakland University, where she’s a rising Senior. And yet, despite all these connections, Emily was unsure whether she’d be a good fit for a marketing internship with twentyonehundred. Before she applied, she thought about her skillset – English major, music minor, blog writer, and felt inadequate. But, Emily felt God nudging her to apply for a marketing internship; she decided to step out in faith in order to explore a new aspect of her God-given gifts. We’re glad she responded to that nudge, and we find it positively providential that she’s here with us this summer.
