In 10th grade, Gary ended up in the hospital with a staph infection and a calligraphy pen. The infection went away. The pen stayed. Since then, Gary’s never been without a sketchbook (of any size) to hold his ideas (of any range) for drawing, claymation, linocut prints, or even our Annual Report. Having worked with InterVarsity since before many of the interns were born, Gary contributes largely to the look and style of InterVarsity’s brand. After taking a break to work with Wycliffe, Gary returned to grace 2100 (and the Madison fine arts scene) with his talent.
