Contradictions are comfortable for Jen. For starters, she grew up a proud New Englander, but after her initial reluctance, happily crossed the Mason-Dixon Line to attend college in Oklahoma. Also, she hates coffee but loves coffee shops, hates the cold but loves the snow, and cannot play the tambourine but can play several more complex instruments. And equally astonishing (though not a contradiction), her parents taught Jen and her brothers to cry in harmony when they were babies. Whoa. We do not feel contradicted in the least to have Jen join our team after she interned with International Justice Mission, then Fulbright “Scholared” in Ukraine.
