Calisto Odede expounds on Luke 19:11-27. Jesus gives the parable of the minas--a master gives his servants each some money (a mina, worth three months salary) to care for while he's away. Calisto tells us that we are living in this waiting period before the master has returned. We are called to nurture, foster, and engage with the gifts, abilities, and resources that God has given each of us in order to bring about his kingdom.
